Sam Baker, 99, enlisted in the Marines at 19, served for five years during WWII, and then put in 30 years with NOAA before retiring.
At 95-years-old he bought his first computer and, at the suggestion of his son, wrote a book based on a story he told his kids when they were little.
This year, fueled by his mission to encourage kids to read, Baker will publish his third children’s book.
