When Anissa Dellaripa graduated from college recently, her dad got her a present: a scratch-off lottery ticket. The 22-year-old Connecticut woman says he often buys scratchers for her for fun, but this one was special - not because it was a graduation gift - but because it was a winner!
Anissa’s $1 Win for Life ticket won her the top prize of $2,000 a month for the rest of her life! She says she was shocked and thought her dad had given her a fake ticket at first as a joke, but then she realized she really won. Anissa opted to take the payout over the lump sum, which would have come out to $400,000.
