Despite studies on a lot of other foods, experts seem to agree: It is looking more and more like dark chocolate is really really good for you! First, they believe it could stretch your blood vessels. That may sound like it's not good, but it is! The Daily Mail reported on the story from researchers at the University of Surrey who also state "dark chocolate, which is high in cocoa, can lower your blood pressure and make your veins and arteries healthier, too."
They're even confirming through other studies that cocoa can lower cholesterol too.
