We've all done it at one time or another: It gets so annoying getting those pestering phone calls from scammers! However, experts say if you get a text from a scammer and respond, you are potentially inviting more intrusion! When you respond, it confirms your number is active and engaged. Lifehacker covered this in a recent article and says the best way to handle it "is to forward the text and the sender’s number or email address to your carrier by texting it to 7726."
