We can safely say at this point that Beyonce has probably been a big influence on Lizzo. Buzzfeed.com has more on how Lizzo spoke to James Corden during her Carpool Karaoke segment about how Bey's music helped her through some tough times. She said: "When I was shy or I didn't think I was cool, and when I was getting picked on, I would listen to Beyonce in my bedroom, and it would transport me." She added, "I would feel something. I would feel like my life was going to be better."
