Took my permit driver on the freeway from Provo to SoJo yesterday. Minus the panic attack she had the first 10 mins she did AWESOME!!
son has permit. I dont let him drive my brand new SUV so he drives with my hubby but when he rides w/ me he's very critical of my driving & tells on me to my husband
my niece just got her license if you're in her car you have to be 100% silent lol she's still super nervous. Also suggesting a new route or telling her to up her speed is a no no.
My son just got his permit in Mar he had to take drivers ed 2x because just as he finished in UT my job was transferred to WA. I thought this would better prepare him and me but nope! That's your baby on the road with others driving like Mad Max! For the record WA drivers are worse than UT!
my daughter got her license in April. Had to make her take driver's Ed, it's like pulling teeth to get her to drive. She's so book smart-aced all the tests, but driving is so much more actual experience vs knowing the laws. I've found myself saying slow down a LOT! Had to make a no radio rule for the first little bit, changing stations is NOT priority when you're behind the wheel
My 17 yr old daughter just got her license. $200 increase to the car insurance 😬. She bought her own car a few months ago and drives herself to work now. Learning to drive she did good, it's the other drivers on the road I hated. Passing us in residential neighborhoods because they're too impatient with new drivers
My daughter is 17 and has had her license since she was 16, but I just taught her how to drive a stick. She's doing awesome. Literally has only stalled on the road a couple of times. I'm actually SUPER proud of her. We made her a sign for the back window to let people know she was learning a stick and it made a huge difference!
