When I was 16 I was in a bus traveling with a sports team. We were headed up highway 101 in Oregon. We were in the left lane. Came over the top of a hill and slammed into a dumpster that was lifted up in the back of a garbage truck. The truck was stopped in the left lane trying to turn left. Busted up the entire front of the bus. We sat there for 5 hours until another bus could come get us. Luckily no serious injuries. Those high seats on buses really do work.

Was in New Jersey in a taxi. Driving on busy back streets. Car in front of us was at a stop sign. No traffic. He started going and then stopped suddenly. My driver didn't see the stop. I yelled. He slammed on the brakes. Then thanked me for yelling. He said that's a scam that people see a taxi and try to get them to rear end them for the insurance money.
