My niece was on her phone and forgot to get on the school bus. She got it taken away for a week
I took my daughter's phone for a month because I found out she had a fb and she was only 13. She never did it again and she's 20 now.
UGH we are having the same issue with our Grandson who is in 9th grade. He doesn't do anything in class and always has missing assignments. His saving grace he aced tests!
my son had been looking up inappropriate things on the school computers. So we banned him from All Electronics for a month. Best month ever! He read so many books and interacted with the family
