we were in Hawaii boogey boarding and there was a young boy struggling to keep his head above water and his dad was stuck in a rip current further out. If my little brother wouldn''t have been there, that little boy would have drowned. We both dragged him up onto the beach and realized he had hurt his knee too so that''s why he couldn''t swim.

My husband and I witnessed a cyclist accident. The cyclist was not wearing a helmet and the car who hit him drove off. Being trained as a Wilderness First Responder, my husband was able to hold this man’s skull together until paramedics arrived. No word if he survived.

My hubby was on duty (So. SLC Police) and was driving down a side street when he saw a baby crawling across the road. He picked it up and saw a house with the front door open. The mom had NO idea the baby was even gone. He has since retired after serving for 20 years. Just one of many he had during that time.

this happened quite a few years ago but I was 19 I happen to see this Cadillac on Fire and the engine compartment fully engulfed in flames and as I look inside the car there''s an old lady 80+ pounding on the window. I pull over immediately and get the car open get her out and to safety. Her face was dirty with soot from the fire and she was coughing. No doubt she would have died if I wouldn''t have gotten her out when I did. The car did not survive the fire!

my husbands grandparents were driving back Idaho Falls from Jackson Hole, and his gpa suffered a heart attack - they drove off the road into the snake river. His Gma was in the passenger seat unaware of what was happening. The car was completely submersed under the water and luckily, a dad and son were fishing in a small boat and saw it happened and went to rescue her. Gpa died from the heart attack and his gma was luckily saved!

My mom was driving thru our neighborhood and saw a guy on a really tall ladder working on the 2nd level of his house and watched him fall to the driveway. Was able to pull over and call 911. Luckily he was ok.

I am a hospice nurse. A pretty bad wreck happened last Tuesday in Springville. I stopped along with another woman until EMS arrived. Luckily I had gloves, dressings, water, etc. I stayed to help the officers and they did such a great job. Much respect to our officers and and their sacrifices. Springville Police department is amazing!

Fire broke out in backyard during the day because of downed power line. Husband works graves, was asleep. Fire took the shed, but house was unharmed.

19 years ago I had a blood clot go to my heart. I was at church at the time it happened. One of my fellow church members had gone home early and felt an overwhelming feeling to come back to the church building. She was studying for her RN degree and was almost finished. She returned to church to find me on the floor in the hall. She sent me to the ER and saved my life
