Went hiking up Stewart Falls on Sunday and this moose came running at us! We all huddled together and the moose went in the opposite direction
I''m a FedEx driver in Park City so I see deer in people''s yard usually at least a couple times a week. Every year when the elk migrate I''ll see herds of elk. Every now and then I will see moose. I''m always a little nervous when I can only spot the baby.
So for the past few years. At my house we''ve always had a Robin build a nest right above our front door and lay her eggs. And it would make my dog bark every time the babies hatched. And so now my dad finally did something to keep the bird from coming back.
go to Bear Lake all the time, moose pop up outta no where! So cool but they also can be sooo mean! My dad was out on a walk in the hills, one started charging him. He was able to find a 5th wheel trailer that he hid under until it left
I was hiking in the foothills above centerville. I stopped for a break. I noticed a mountain lion sneaking through the trees below me 30 yards away. When I stood up to make my presence known it stopped and stared a whole through me. Very scary feeling. I picked up a rock and threw it and hit it, the mountain lion than took off running. I got out of there in a hurry.
I was in Yellowstone 2 weeks ago. My fam and I stopped at the on the side of the road to take some pics. We saw 2 bear cubs. We jumped in the car fast. Then we saw momma bear. It was about 40ft or so. Kept that social distance.
was walking my dogs behind our house which is Forrest. I was at the end of our Trail starting to turn around and my dogs started going crazy barking running around and I started hearing different coyote calls pretty much surrounding me the hair on the back of my neck stood up. Which is my cue to take off around back to the house with my dogs were kind of staying By Me keeping me safe. But the sounds of coyotes were getting closer so I picked up the pace and I looked to my left and saw one big coyote about 75 yards away. I was able to get to my house but that scared the crap out of me!
was mountain biking in corner canyon, I came around a blind corner and almost ran into a wild turkey. We both freaked!
hit a baby bear up Cottonwood Canyon. He was about two years old. It totally freaked me out but he ran away I think unscathed
