TEXT TOPIC: Which movie traumatized you as a kid?

ET scared the poo out of me since I was 5 still does He's an unruly alien people!

Dante's peak and volcano, I was 8. Still can't watch them.

killer clowns from outer space. Scared the crap out of me as a kid. Cotton candy cocoons as they drink your blood with a straw. I can never look at cotton candy the same. I saw already scared of clowns and after that even more. No bueno!

my brother had me watch Pet Cemetery when I was 4. I've never liked the name Gage since

jaws. Saw it at 5yo, away at a hotel with a neon blue light that made the asbestos ceiling looked like water. Had nightmares until I was 35 & saw it again.

ET ET ET I'm still so scarred

saw the beginning of Children of the Corn when I was little. It terrified me. I still get scared when I see a corn field.

Freaking Amityville Horror!! I saw it when I was 16 and it scared me to death!! Still cannot watch it to this day!!

pet cemetary the original. I was 12 when i saw it and it is still one of the creepiest shows ever, when i went with kylie and wayne to asylum 49 i was thinking about that movie a lot!

one of the Halloween movies my mom took us to movies to see it, I was around 12 during one of the scary parts the theater had someone dressed as Micheal Myers come running through the theater. Can not watch the Halloween movies to this day.

"willow" they put the baby in the river! I made my mom leave the theater and take me home. She had to go back to get everyone else

The Exorcist terrorized me; about 7 when it came on tv. Still can't think about it too much to this day n I'm 40

the movie that traumatized me as a child was "The Relic" about a monster that attacked people in a museum but it started my love for horror movies

Disney's Watchers in the Woods. I was 12

Chucky/childs play. I didn''t see the movie I saw the trailer on GMA when I was 6 and then my neighbor tormented me with the doll for years. I didn''t get over it until I was 18 and finally watched the movie. Will still always have an uneasy feeling about it.

wizard of oz I dont know how old I was but am 24 now and still terrified of midgets!

born in 81 idk when thriller came out but it scarred me for life. I get INSTANTLY stressed out when I hear the intro today. I think that''s why I can''t do scary movies lol

Phantasm I was about 9-10 yrs old. When the creepy guy reached out of the curtain saying "Boy" and grabbed him.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit when I was 6. 27 years later and the steamroller scene still creeps me out!! What''s funny is I grew up on horror movies and never once had a nightmare about them!!

The Watcher in the Woods, I was 12 and I still have a hard time with it I am 40. Lol

Savannah Smiles. Saw it in 1982, I was 8. Story about a kidnapping. Also had a huge fear after of being kidnapped. And I still cant watch Disney Watcher in the Woods!

Arachnophobia! I was probably 9 or 10 when it came out. I could not sleep in my bed or go to the bathroom without checking everything several times. Kept feeling imaginary spiders in my bed for weeks after.

My friends parents used no discretion. Exorcist in 1st grade. Silence of the lambs in 3rd. My lifetime motivation to never be a size 14!

Harry Potter. When he unwrapped his head and Voldemort was on the back of his head was the worst thing I witnessed as a child

Hush Hush Sweet Charolette, Bette Davis old movie. I was 13. I had nightmares!

The 6th sense! Watched it when I was maybe 8 and the scene where he goes to the bathroom and runs into his "mom" scared me to the point where I didn''t go to the bathroom in the night for a year.

The poltergeist movie. Anytime the static came on the TV screen I would freak out.

I watched Jaws and still to this day I hate water and I'm 28. When I go to the ocean anything that touches me I think its jaws

Dual terrorized me. I was probably 7, at 34 still afraid of semi trucks

I was at the neighbors and saw child's play when I was 6 scared the crap out of me

Labyrinth in the Dark Crystal scared the heck out of me!

Saw the 1st Men in Black when I was 5 and for YEARS I was convinced aliens were chasing me in the dark or under my bed

Jurassic Park! I will forever have the guy getting eatin off the toilet etched in my brain!

watched the mask at 3. It scared me so bad

Jumanji!! I watched it when I was 5 and it gave me nightmares. I haven't seen it since.

Pinocchio freaked me out as a kid. It was the part where the kids turned to donkeys and where the whale swallowed Pinocchio.

GREMLINS!!! Watched it when I was 7. Snuck out when my older brother was watching it with friends. Terrified me!!

My older brother locked me in a room when I was 7 and forced me to watch the Sixth Sense. Earth shattering!!

SIGNS! I was 8 or so and my little sister loved it & made us watch it constantly. I still cringe when people do that awful clicking noise

Movie: Birds. Saw it around age 10 I am 31 years old and still terrified of birds.

The Ring! Most scary movie ever Haha I'm 30 now and still can't watch it!

Texas chainsaw massacre. I spent the night sleeping in the bath tub because the bathroom door locked

nightmare on elm street. I had nightmares of Freddy Krueger with his burnt skin and knives hands for years. I would slow motion try to run away and couldn''t. Ruined me for horror shows!

my dad made me watch the 90s IT when I was 8. I had nightmares until age 22 about clowns coming out of drains. He also forced me to watch the 70s version of Texas chainsaw massacre when I was 12. My childhood was great!

saw Not Without My Daughter with Sally Fields when I was in 4th grade. I''ve been terrified of all things middle-Eastern since then. In My 4th grade writing I said I was scared of Iranian men.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The child catcher STILL creeps me out and I'm almost 50!!

I LOVE..... horror, suspense, and weird since I was a kid. Ha. But what got me was hills have eyes!

Fern Gully - the part where the wood chopper is eating the trees and the trees are spitting out the tar or poison. Terrifying, I was 4.

the movie Candy Man effed me up! I was probably 5 or 6 and watched it with my mom. I'm 27 and to this day haven't had the guts to watch it again.

When I was eight years old my parents took me to see event horizon in the theaters. Needless to say they regretted that since I slept on the floor of their bedroom for two years after that.

Scarface! I was 6 and the shower scene traumatized me

The original piranha movie. I was about 7 or 8 when i watched it. Our family was big into boating and waterskiing. I couldn''t get into lakes or pools till I was a teen. Freaked me out!

The Exorcist & The Shining. I was seven or eight years old when my dad forced me to watch The Exorcist with my sister who would have been 9 or 10 years old.

The Mummy I was 9, Anything with Egyptians freaks me out now

my dad had me watch all the lovely bones when I was in 6th grade. I still always wonder who may be a serial killer. Granted I now love true crime

Alfred Hitchcock's "Birds" I was 8 or 9 Terrified of birds until 2006 when parents got a cockatoo.

struggle to swim near pool drains still in my 30s from a Goosebumps episode as a kid

watched invaders from Mars when I was 6 where they sucked then down Into the sand in the playground and stuck needles on the back of there heads to take over there body. I slept walk out the door and down the street.

something Wicked This Way Comes was 7. It's a Disney! Hate Carnivals now.

Coraline when I was 11 year old. Sews button on your eyes and eating kids souls

Rumpstiltskin from the 80''s i was born in the 90''s and watched it when I was like 7. TERRIFYING. I can''t even look at the movie cover or anything from it. Gives me the creepiest.

Stigmata terrified me!!! Especially when the statue had blood coming from it's eyes!

the scene from "when a stranger calls" where the phone lights up her dead friend in the bathroom! Still can't pee in the dark!

Fantasm. I watch that at 13 babysitting. When the black creature from the finger/garbage disposal crept up his head still freaks me out.

Signs scared the ever living shizz out of me! And I was probably 12

Indiana Jones snake pit.

Drop dead fred gave me nightmares! I was about 10!

Tremors. I was mortified and was scared to walk outside for a few weeks. Jurassic Park also freaked me out. It was the first loud movie I saw in a movie theater and the dinosaur sounds still freak me out to this day.

Cujo. I was about 10. I had been bit my neighbors hunting dog once and then watched a friend viscously attacked by a different dog. Struggle with animals to this day.

my mom took me to see Cape Fear when I was 10.
