My ex used to compete with me - he was always more tired, more hungry, more hurt, smarter, more mad, more put out, all the things. The time that sticks out most was how he was more tired after my appendix burst causing an ovarian cyst to burst, when I had a three-month-old baby, two older kids and was in school full time. He won a divorce from that competition.
I am always telling my hubby he is book smart and not commonsense smart. So, we always try and see who can come up with more commonsense violations against each other. He thinks he is winning but the rest of the family and I know who the real winner is.... go me!!!!
Hubby works construction & likes to compete over work hours. I work a 9 to 5 job, no overtime. I get it, you win every week.
My wife and I compete over who has the better salary. She’s lead most of our marriage. I took over the title last July. She hasn't taken it well and has a interview tomorrow. Of she gets what she’s asking for I don’t think I could ever catch her. It makes me mad and proud at the same time.
