had a pill addiction, but the kicker is the doctor was the one providing me with the OxyContin 30''s. I was 95lbs taking up to 10 a day. He would prescribe me 180 a month and would go through those in 2 weeks or less so I would go back to the doctor and he would prescribe me another 180 and put on the refill paper "ok to fill". The doctor was my drug dealer. He died of cancer and I was screwed, so I had to go get on methadone. It''s super expensive, but I find money to pay for that before I pay for any other needs including stuff for my kids. I wish I could go to rehab, but it''s so expensive. It''s been the worst things that has ever happened to me in my life. Sad to say, but I wish the doctor was still alive.
had a pretty bad adderall addiction for ten years, just barely finally got out, cut out all of those friends, been exercising and eating healthy
my mom in law has a pill addiction she hides. She gets 3 different pain pills from her dr. 20+ yrs now and she doesn''t know I know. Found out by staying with her. 5 times to pharmacy in 14 days
a girl I know pops pills like candy. She has every excuse in the book to take them. Her husband ignores it and you can tell when she takes em. She gets pills from any dr she can.
Can't go a day without adderall. Currently trying to stop but it's so hard. I feel like I can't be productive if I don't take them. Sometimes I'll take 6 a day
I was addicted to pain pills which turned into a heroin addiction. I did end up getting help and now I have been clean for almost 12 years we can recover!
have a brother that steals his sisters Adderall to help cover what he steals from his son as well
my former best friend lives on ambien and any other pills she can get. I''ve never seen anyone else be able to take 7 ambien and go about her day. He rpoor 4 year old "let''s mommy sleep"
working for many doctors currently, it''s crazy how many patients I see call in for their constant pain meds refills. Then getting calls from pharmacies when they''re concerned the patient might be Dr shopping. Its being cracked down on but still mind blowing.
My daughters father got addicted to pain pills after a major accident. It got to the point where I had said if you leave to buy pills the baby and I are gone. He left to buy and I moved out with my two week old daughter. He''s is now passed away.
