The IRS will never call you. Don’t fall for the scam. Also the only time the Tax Commission will call is if you have a large case in collections. Or if you send correspondence asking to be called.
Don't call the day after filing to check on your refund. It's annoying. Also it can take up to 120 days. Be patient.
If you cant find the answer on the website, we most likely can't find the answer either.
I have worked at the tax commission for a few years now. The old supervisor for the counter would make people sit for over an hour if they thought they’d be funny and bring in a bunch of small bills while she "counted" it. Don’t be funny and bring small bills. You look like an ass. And we will make fun of you
