Chris Ferry doesn't turn 62 until Saturday, but he's already gotten more than 15,000 texts and calls congratulating him on the milestone--thanks to a surprise birthday billboard his sons rented in New Jersey, where Ferry lives, that contained his phone number.
Now Ferry's gotten so inundated with birthday calls that he's been forced to change his number, leaving a voice mail on the old line which says, "Thank you for calling to wish me a happy birthday. I really very much appreciate it."
“We thought it was going to be a local joke,” one of Ferry's sons told a Florida radio station. “I guess when we put it on social media, that’s when it really started going crazy.”
