Could Utah see the Winter Olympic Games return? It was another step in the process to determine that today. Inspectors from The International Olympic Committee were in town today, scouting out possible venues. Apparently we did such a fantastic job with the 2002 Winter Olympic Games that we are in serious consideration for the 2030 and 2034 Winter Games. Venues they were looking at include the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Rice-Eccles Stadium, which would be the place for opening and closing ceremonies again, the Olympic Oval in Kearns and the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway.
