Close call with the toaster. I saw a story, years ago, warning people to move the toaster out from underneath the cupboard when using it. Because if something (in the toaster) happens to catch fire, it’ll make immediate contact with the cabinets above. Thank God for getting into the habit of doing this. A flame shot straight up, while making toast.
Unplugged it.
Waited for it to cool.
And out in the trash you go!
