Simba is hard at work, putting in his 40 hours a week in our @utahhumane staff offices!
This 6-year-old pup has excellent office manners, is housetrained, and gets along well with all the hoomans he works with here at the Humane Society of Utah, reportedly as well as the children he previously lived with. He is a champion ball chaser and would love to show off this extracurricular skill of his.
He got along well with a canine companion in his previous home but is uncomfortable and avoids the dogs he's met at the shelter (which is why we hired him for an office job). Simba doesn't find cats and other small pets to be his favorite types of coworkers and would ideally like to work without them. But hey! Simba adores having water-cooler chats with all the hoomans he has come across!
If we're being honest in our reference, Simba is a terrible typist and is distractingly cute and affectionate with his coworkers. Can he retire from office work and return to life as a housedog?
