Adventure Paws is a licensed dog training company here in Utah. They specialize in positive reinforcement dog training, dog sports and individualized dog behavior training. They also give back to the dog community continuously by volunteering at shelters, taking in foster dogs and puppies, and helping to train shelter dogs to save them from euthanasia. Adventure Paws has been a business in Utah for many years, previously under the name Calling All Dogs. In 2020, along with so many other small businesses, they were forced to close their doors after issues with their landlord forced them out of their lease. They haven't let that stop them though! They have continued to provide some of the best dog training Utah has to offer, created a scentwork team that continuously places first at many competitions, provided daycare and boarding for dogs who have special needs and would otherwise have nowhere else to go. This truly is a labor of love! This ongoing passion for dogs and assisting shelters, rescues and fosters, has led to the desire for them to create a nonprofit organization. They have many corporations that want to help them with their cause, but without a nonprofit, most corporations are unable to donate. The issue with many local city and/or county shelters, is that they cannot take monetary donations. Any monetary donations are put back into the city/county fund and aren't given directly to the shelter. Most corporations want to be able to donate money, because they don't have the time or resources to be able to purchase the supplies the shelters need. This is where the nonprofit would come in. They would be that mediary between the corporations who want to donate money, and the shelters that can only directly accept supplies. The other issue is that many local shelters, and even many rescues, don't have the resources to be able to support fostering. Any individual in the community who wants to help foster, is left to pay for many things, if not everything, out of their own pocket. This includes food, vet bills, medication, supplies etc. This nonprofit would provide funding and supplies to people that are wanting to foster so it is not so much of a burden. They would also provide training to both the foster and the dog that is being fostered to ensure it is a successful operation and lead to more adoptions. This is only a couple examples of all the many wonderful things this nonprofit would hope to accomplish! The hope is that we can get the attention of Utahans around the state that would support this cause in order to raise the funds needed to start this nonprofit! Your help in spreading the word would be invaluable in making this dream come true!

This is such a great cause! Donate if you can! :)
