TEXT TOPIC: What did you get your degree in and do you use it?

Utah State. PE/Health teaching. Love love it! Wouldn’t change a thing! Got my masters degree during my first year of teaching which was a very smart move since it led to a raise!

Went to school for web/application development. Graduated last year, just got a promotion to 6 figure income. Would have gone to school before having kids.

Picked an "easy way out" major of sociology and have worked in sales for the last 8 years. I tell myself it helps deal with crazy AF customers

Licensed Pharmacy technician but drive a cement mixer cuz the money is WAY better.

got my associates degree in applied aircraft sciences and my bachelors degree in Logistics And Supply Chain Management. I now work as a USAF government contractor supporting multiple aircraft platforms and weapons systems. I love me job and wouldn''t have done anything different.

studied nursing - best thing about it is that there's SO much to do with it. I'm in forensics.

Degree is social work. I don''t use it. I wanted to be an oral hygienist but my hubby wouldn''t move for me to have access to a good school. I regret it to this day and I kind of hold a grudge against him for it.

My advice: pick a career, not a major, and then pick a major that will help you get to the career. That's what I did and I use my degree every day

being female getting into IT would be so smart. There aren't a lot of females in that industry so you're likely to get hired.

I am a DOD government employee. I love it & benefits are the BEST! My advice would be make sure you have an interest/love in your career field & start retirement packages in your 20s.

went to school for sonography (ultrasound). Dropped out to groom dogs. I passionately love what I do, and earn more money than I would have in medical... but the emotional stress and daily physical toll on my body is intense. If I could do it over, I would stay in sonography and groom as a weekend hobby.

Got business management degree. Now deliver fuel., make triple compared to using my degree. Wouldn''t bother with school, just get certificate. Kids, a good education doesn''t always mean college.
