NEDA is the National Eating Disorder Association and their goal is to raise awareness about eating disorders, promote body posititvity and raise money to help those recovering from an eating disorder. 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from an eating disorder at some point in their life. Unfortunately, society has made the topic of eating disorders taboo. This is why it needs to be talked about and society needs to become more aware about the severity of how body image is portrayed. Our walk is a way to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to share hope, build communities, and inspire others.
