TEXT TOPIC: How do you un-invite someone?

Well I don’t know why it’s hard to un-invite somebody. It’s always best to be straight forward. Not rude but honest. Obviously there is a reason so tell them why.

this happened to me once when I over invited people to my house. I had to pick who to uninvite because it was just too many people. I ended up picking two groups of friends I was just open and honest with them that I over invited and had to cancel some people. But still to this day it has been very awkward and I feel bad for it and wish I would have just let them come. it’s too late in my opinion once they are invited. Don’t uninvite unless if you want to ruin the friendship

had to un invite my cousin to my bday party this Saturday because he can't handle his liquor and caused problems last year-so just sent him a straight up text, "I'd rather if you didn't come thru on Saturday, always seems to be a problem with you" just got a "ok" back

I had a taco bar one evening, a friends three boys completely destroyed my house, beyond just typical 5 and under boy destruction. She wouldn''t replace the hundreds of toys broken, books tore apart etc. My kids personally requested for one of the boys to not come to their party. So I had to uninvite her so none of them would come especially the one that my kids didn''t want there. She got mad, our friendship soon ended and it''s been bliss since!

Have someone else do it. The 1 person who is blunt in your circle who doesn't care if feelings are hurt.

What a tough situation your friend is in. I m a firm believer that who you truly are and how you respond to the situations. Hopefully this friend that s not invited will be understanding. Hugs
