A wrong turn made an Iowa man a hero.
Brendon said he took a wrong turn and came across a house on fire. He immediately sprang in to action, screaming and pounding on the windows of the home. 2 young kids came running out of the house, then the oldest.
Their parents were out of town and the smoke detectors weren’t working. It was Brendon’s banging and screaming that eventually woke the siblings up.
"They came out the door. Like, I just felt like I just wanted to break down and cry.”
A Ring doorbell captured the intense moments.
