My son Jordan Vance is missing. He was last seen in Ardmore, Oklahoma. His car broke down and he was given a ride to a Salvation Army, given a meal and went on his way. A few days later another person picked him up and helped Jordan tow his car to a McDonalds and then gave him a ride to a bus stop. We lost his trail from there. Jordan left his phone at home so we have no way to contact him. I made the trip up to OK and have been canvassing the streets searching for him but with no luck. I have had contact with a wonderful Bishop of the ward here who met Jordan at the soup kitchen, got information from the man who towed Jordan, and have gotten amazing angels all over answering the calls for help from my family. There are several police reports, BOLOs and missing persons alerts on Jordan, but I am begging for more prayers and answers from people who may have seen him.
Jordan is a sweet and kind young man with Aspergers. He is very trusting and can be naive in situations that others would think twice about. He is not afraid to speak to, ride with, ask for help from, or "make friends" with anyone and is very determined when he makes up his mind to do something. He is trying to make his way to Salt Lake City to be with his grandparents so if there is anyone in the Texas to Utah routes PLEASE keep a watchful eye out. And if you see him, tell him his family misses him so very much, we love him with everything that we are and we desperately need to know he's safe. He was last seen wearing a Utah Utes shirt.
