ARUP is the sole provider to University of Utah, Shriners, and the Hunstman Cancer Institute. They have two locations (9786 S. 500 W. in Sandy & 565 Komas Drive in Research Park. ARUP is open 7 days a week.
With folks on vacation during the summer, there tends to be less donors – so we really need our listeners to commit to donating. Blood transfusions happen every day in our local hospitals and we need to make sure we are fully stocked to help every patient. The hospitals we serve need at least 75 donors per day to meet the needs of patients.
Right now, they are short on EVERY Blood type. Don’t hesitate.
