My name is Randi Carter and I am currently Mrs. West Jordan. This is the 1st time I've ever done a pageant! I got into this because I saw some friends who were involved and it looked fun. I love to be in the community, challenge myself, and meet new people. I am a mental health advocate so I chose the platform #fadethefilter. My goal is to educate the community to use social media in moderation and in a healthy manner. It's important to recognize when it's affecting your mental health and know when to take a break. I am currently a working mommy. I have been in law enforcement for almost 17 years! I am one of the supervisors over the training program for newly hired law enforcement officers. I have been with my husband for 19 years and we have three boys. He currently works for the air lines and yes we love to fly all over the world! I partnered up with the Ron Mcbride Foundation and volunteer with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and have tons of amazing local sponsors! For more info about my journey to become Mrs. Utah or my platform you can go to Mrs. West Jordan 2021 on Facebook or Instagram. The pageant is on May 15th. Tickets will be on sale through Mrsutahamerica.com That is also where you can see how to become a future contestant and what the pageant is all about. The show will have an opening number/intros, swim suit, Utah costume, and an evening gown competition.
