Francis is a strong woman who has been beaten down by the year 2020. Francis is from Hawaii and in the beginning of 2020 her father became very ill and passed away. She was forced to leave behind her family here in Utah to say her goodbyes and care for her father in his last days. Francis then returned home to Utah to find out that her mother had fallen very ill as well and passed away soon after. Without hesitation she packed up and went back to Hawaii to say her goodbyes to her mother. She then attend the funeral and dealt with the logistics of losing both of her parents. She then returned to Utah only to get a phone call that her sister had suffered a stroke in Hawaii and was left with deficits that is going to require care. How much can one woman take? Well 2020 felt as though Francis hadn't had enough because she then had an accident that left her with a broken ankle. Francis has diabetes and her ankle would not heal. It took months for her to return to work and when she did we could all see that she was in agonizing pain but found the drive to push through. Is that enough? No! Francis has now been in and out the hospital fighting for her life with covid-19 and pneumonia while her husband and children pray she will get better and return to full health. This family needs help!
