Haircuts for Human Trafficking Event
“CUT TRAFFICKING” FUNDRAISER BENEFITING OPERATION UNDERGROUND RAILROAD HAIRCUTS FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING EVENT (Hosted by PEDOhunters)
Human trafficking is now the third most profitable business for organized crime behind drugs & arms. It’s also the fastest growing form of international crime. But what difference can we make in helping to eradicate a $150 billion industry in our own backyard? We can start with awareness - prevention, education, detection & opposition on a personal and local level.
During our “Cut Trafficking” fundraising event, our team of volunteer hairstylists will be cutting hair to raise money to benefit Operation Underground Railroad in addition to hosting a robust silent auction of high-value items donated by our business community and merchandise dedicated to awareness.
We will also be elevating that awareness and creating connection within our own community through mixed media, featured speakers & partnering organizations.
There will be food trucks, music and messages, making this a rewarding event for the entire family.
