Our mission is to provide help, hope and healing for the brain injury community. After my child was injured, we had no idea where to get help. We stumbled around lost for a while but eventually found a good mix of treatment providers mostly by chance. My child is doing better than all the experts thought was possible.
I realized that our story was unusual because we found good options. I learned that most people never receive the care they need and it limits their progress and increases their risk for many things such as substance abuse, homelessness and even suicide. I decided I would do whatever I could to change that so Brainstorm was born with two other amazing women.
