"I have been working downtown for 4 years. There is an incredibly kind homeless man who hangs out at the corner by where I walk into work. He makes sure he is there every morning with a smile and "good morning!" to everyone who walks by. He never asks for money or help, he simply wants to show kindness to those who walk by. He saved up his money to buy himself a companion pet. He went through all the correct processes and rightfully bought himself an adorable lab puppy whom he bonded with instantly. He was training her, taking her in to the vet for shots, etc. He truly cared for her and loved her, and she loved him. Anyone who saw them could tell they were a great pair. He was taking a nap the other day, and someone stole her from the leash he had fastened to himself. She was due for her shots just a few days later. He's been sick from worry and crying almost daily. He's terrified that she might get sick since she's just a puppy and didn't get her booster shot. He's contacted the police and animal control. He has heard that she has been seen downtown but every time animal control gets to the reported location they've already moved on. There is a reward for anyone who brings her home to him. I would love to do anything and everything I can to help him get his friend back."
