Utah Business Owner Earned $8 Million a Year With Illegal Gambling Machines

A gambling raid performed by multiple law enforcement agencies in Salt Lake County uncovered one business owner making $8 million dollars per year.

Undercover law enforcement officers played the slot machines located at 8 separate business locations owned by the same owner. When a customer would win, they would talk with the cashier about receiving their winnings. Many of the payouts were in the $200-300 range.

When law enforcement raided the owner’s business location and residence, he fled the scene. Four guns, a taser, drugs and 50 gambling machines were confiscated.
