Truck on Fire Rolls Across Busy Street in Layton
A GMC Denali truck rolled through a busy intersection in Layton completely engulfed in flames on Saturday afternoon. Someone who was driving past the man driving the GMC noticed his truck was on fire and flagged him down while both of them were driving on Antelope Drive. He exited quickly to avoid injury, but in the process, his vehicle continued to burn while rolling through several busy lanes of traffic. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials say it appeared there was a leak in a gas line that was sparked by a hot muffler or other component.
