A Sandy City police officer responded to Iron Flat Mesa Park over the weekend to shut down a water slide party. There were around 200 people at the park to enjoy the water slide but since public water and land was being, it had to be shut down. Another reason given was the water slide would kill the grass.
Before shutting down the fun, Officer Mann decided to take a quick run down the water slide while in full uniform. The group plans to have another water slide part on Pioneer Day but will stage it on private land.
