Employees showing up for work at the Centerville location of Iggy’s Sports Grill found the doors locked and a note on the door. It read, "The Centerville Iggy's is Closed. Thank you for your support."
Julie Cok, a server at the Centerville location said this about the closing, "I had no idea. I don't know what to think of it. I did not see that coming at all.”
Utah businesses aren’t required to give employees notice before closing but they are required to pay any earned income to the employees.
If you're an Iggy's employee and do not receive your wages earned, call the Utah Labor Commission at (801) 530-6800 and file a claim.
