Feds Say The Complex Concert Venue Was Paid for with Drug Money

The three owners are accused of trafficking marijuana from California to be sold in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Prosecutors allege Gabriel Elstein, Angela Elstein and Scott Dale Gordon used their profits to build The Complex concert venue.

According to a press release from U.S. Attorney for Utah, John Huber, the three defendants were arraigned and released on Friday.

If convicted, they face 10 years to life in prison and the government could seize The Complex.
