When some Kentucky teachers showed up for the first day of the school year earlier this week, they were surprised to learn that someone had given them all $100 to buy classroom supplies. An anonymous woman had called the district to set up the donation for all 143 teachers. That’s $14,300!
“I just want to do something to show teachers that there are people out there that have their back, and support them in what they do every day for students, and then recognize that they give so much more than they are compensated.”
