Minnesota Co. Lends Private Jet to Injured Boy

A Minnesota family was vacationing in Costa Rica when their 3 year old boy, Axel, was injured and had to be put in a cast from his chest down to his toes. The cast prevented them from taking a regular commercial flight home because Axel has to lay down. A special air ambulance would have cost them $40,000.

Another Minnesota man, Wes, heard the story and knew right away that he could help. Wes happens to be the president of Red Wing Aeroplane, a company that charters private jets. A private plane was set up to accommodate Alex’s needs and the family was flown back to Minnesota at no charge.
