Pete Davidson's Favorite 'Sweetener' Song Is 'God Is A Woman'

Pete Davidson is fiancé goals. Ariana Grande's highly anticipated track "God is a Woman" dropped at midnight last night and Pete just can't stop talking about it. Not only did Pete hype the track on Instagram feed when it dropped, but he also posted two separate stories about it. Does it get more supportive than that?

Pete wasn't just out here supporting Ariana's career by posting about the new track. He confirmed on his Insta story that "God is a Woman" is actually his favorite song off Ariana's upcoming album Sweetener. "It's bonkers," he wrote about the epic track. It sure is!

Pete is the only one obsessed with this special song. During a Twitter Q&A with fans, Ari revealed that "God is a Woman" makes her cry every time she hears it. After finally getting to listen to the track, we can confirm it definitely lives up to the hype.

It's no surprise the song means so much to Ariana. She's spoked about the significance of "God is a Woman" and how it represents "sexual female empowerment & how women are literally everything & the universe is inside of us.” Female empowerment is an dear to Ariana's heart and she always makes sure to speak her mind when it comes to issues like misogyny, women's rights, and politics.

Ariana does not shy away from those themes at all in "God is a Woman" and even uses a ton of religious imagery to explore that message in her lyrics. It's truly like nothing we've heard before, so, we can see why it's so special to both Pete and Ariana.

"God is a Woman" follows the release of first single "No Tears Left to Cry"  and follow up "The Light is Coming" with frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj. Now that "God is a Woman" is out in the world, fans look forward to hearing another highly anticipated track titled "r.e.m." Ariana teased the song just yesterday during a game of Song Association with Elle. The full album will drop on Aug. 17.
