A Michigan firefighter went above and beyond the call of duty after responding to an emergency call that a family’s power had been turned off.
The problem is, their son is on a ventilator that needs power to run!
The mother explained that her family has been overwhelmed with medical costs for their son who has muscular dystrophy and relies on the ventilator.
The firefighter says “it was a no-brainer for me.” And he paid the bill which was $1,023 and their power was back on 20 minutes later.
