This school year, many children will lack the supplies they need to enter the classroom ready to learn. Help United Way of Salt Lake Stuff the Bus with new school supplies for children served through United Way of Salt Lake’s neighborhood centers. These centers, many located in schools, work daily with the families and youth of Davis, Salt Lake, and Summit counties to improve academic achievement, reading, and development. Supplies collected will be stuffed into backpacks and delivered to 30 schools at United Way of Salt Lake’s annual Stuff the Bus, August 12, 2017. - Now through July 31, the United Way of Salt Lake will be accepting the following new school supplies:
- - Crayons- Markers
- - Spiral notebooks- Pocket folders- Pencils- Pens- Glue sticks- Highlighters- Erasers
- Just stop by the Columbus Center, located at 2531 South 400 East in South Salt Lake to donate and help us give back to our community! You can also donate school supplies at the iHeartMedia building, located at 2801 S. Decker Lake Drive, Salt Lake City 84119 (weekdays from 8:30-5:30pm).
