IRS Phone Scammers Accidentally Call A Programmer, Regret It Immediately

Programmer and Redditor, YesItWasDataMined operates an anti-scam operation called Project Mayhem. He received a voice message from an IRS scammer so he decided to do something to try to stop the calls. He wrote a script that calls back the number 28 times per second and floods the call center. He programmed an audio message to play when they answer the phone that alerts them that they are scammers. It also lets them know that his calls will stop flooding their call center when they stop scamming.

Here are the responses from the scammers.
