See The MOAB Bomb In Action (Watch)

A GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb (MOAB), nicknamed the "mother of all bombs," was dropped at 7:32 p.m. local time in Afghanistan, according to four US military officials.

Adam Stump, a Pentagon spokesperson said that the bomb was dropped on a cave complex believed to be used by the Islamic State in the Achin district of the Nangarhar province, near the border with Pakistan. 

According to the DoD the MOAB is the largest non-nuclear conventional weapon in existence and weighs in at 21,600 pounds
