Student Stamped With "Lunch Money" Reminder On His Wrist When Money Ran Low

Some schools give students a smiley face or other stamp as a reminder but Tara Chavez’s son was stamped with a “lunch money” reminder on his wrist. His account was running low on funds but instead of sending home a note or contacting the parents, he was stamped.

Chavez emailed her son's school, Desert Cove Elementary in Arizona, inquiring about the stamp. The principal responded, saying that staff is supposed to ask children whether or not they want a take-home slip or a stamp, so as not to embarrass the kids.

What do you think about this? No right, or not a big deal?
