our office went through intensive fishing training. The very next week my boss clicked on one of those fake Amazon account phishing emails and all the online files in our office were hijacked with ransom ware! It was a nightmare for months! This was the very next day after training!
I work in banking and people fall for scams all. The. time! A big one right now is when they receive a text from what claims to be Amazon saying there was a purchase made for $1000 or so for some product. And then they call the phone number and it’s a fraudster who gets them so wrapped up they end up sending them money! Don’t fall for it
Kaden Tooele. My company does 15 min massages you have to sign up for and they send out an email to sign up. The security team put out a test phishing email mimicking the massage sign up and they got a significant number of people in the company.

got scammed recently by a lawn care company I gave him A $110 to take care of my lawn and snow removal for the year he mowed my lawn twice and disappeared Once I got ahold of him he said he'd refund my money and of course has not
My boss owns more than one company. I do payroll for one and there was a different lady who did payroll for another one. Several years ago she called me in a panic. She has gotten and email from "the owner" asking for copies of all the W2s so he could review them before she filed year end taxes. She sent the entire company's W2s and the realized it was a scam email. It caused ID theft issues for several of the employees. Years later there is still stuff popping up. It was a DISASTER!
