Doctors hope that blood of coronavirus survivors can save lives. This cure is in the early stages of study, but looks promising. This idea actually came from the 1918 influenza pandemic. Blood plasma from those who have recovered can be a rich source of antibodies, the proteins that help the immune system attack the virus.
