My name is Courtney and I am the mother of Jayla Hiatt, 18, who was ejected from the boat down in Lake Powell and ended up lossing her life on June 14. I just wanted to reach out to you guys for help spreading the word about my amazing daughter and the amazing people in the community who has helped with donations. My heart is overwhelmed with the outpouring love and support. My heart is broken for the loss of my daughter, she was so young and had so much more to give...she wanted to go to to college to be a pediatric nurse, go on a trip to Australia, get married and have a family. And so many other things that she won't be able to experience. I listen to your morning show everyday at work and know you have a big impact on the community. So I hope you can share this and my daughter's stories from the news stations. Please dont drink and drive any kind of vehicle and if you are aware someone is drinking stay out of their vehicle. Hold your kids tighter and tell them how much you love them everyday because tomorrow is never promised! I love you Jayla Bean, fly high!! Thank you so much!
