A female suspect drove through the streets of the San Fernando Valley in California in a stolen RV with two dogs by her side on Tuesday night. Police chased the vehicle through red light after red light as the driver rarely stopped or slowed down during the chase. Halfway through the pursuit, one of the dogs jumped out and ran to the sidewalk while the other dog remained in the RV for the remainder of the chase. Both dogs were recovered safely although one of the dogs had some type of injury leaving bloody paw prints on the sidewalk as it waited by the driver’s side.
The driver collided with at least six vehicles during the pursuit before crashing into a final vehicle at a residence in Tarzana. The injuries to the driver of that vehicle are unknown but he can be seen crawling to safety on his driveway while police made their way to him.
The driver of the stolen RV is expected to be charged with driving under the influence, felony evading and felony hit-and-run.
