On Friday, April 5th Conner (3 and a half years old) was enjoying the breeze through an open bedroom window when he noticed a neighbor's dog and called to it. He leaned out the window to get a better look when the screen popped off and Conner fell 15 feet, landing on his head on the concrete below. He was driven by ambulance to the nearest hospital, then air lifted to Primary Children's Hospital about 35 miles away. He spent a day and a half in the ICU, then was moved to the neurotrauma unit. Conner sustained a couple of skull fractures, some bumps and scrapes, and a very serious concussion, but is expected to make a full recovery. Conner's family will use funds to help cover his medical expenses.
