Hi Frankie and Jess (Also Wayne and Kylie!) I have been a fan of the show since my sister told me about it in 2013. Your show truly makes my mornings better!
My name is Morgan Clayton and I have been married to my husband Valentin since August of 2015. In March of 2016, Valentin fell very ill and was not getting better. We rushed to the ER one night when we realized he was getting worse. After many tests and no answers, we were told that he had end stage renal disease, or kidney failure. At the time he was only 25 years old and none of the doctors could tell us why it happened to him. Flash forward to today, we are doing much better. My husband is able to do at home hemo-dialysis treatments lasting about 12-15 hours each week and is on the transplant list to receive a kidney from a diseased donor. Even though he is able to do these treatments, it takes a very high toll on his body. He is always out of energy and often physically ill. We have been trying to find a living donor for him without any luck over these past few years. This is where I ask for your help. If you would like to help my husband, when asked who you would like to donate to, you can enter Valentin Andrade. Even if they are not a match for my husband, they are many programs where they can 'trade' donors so they will still be helping us out. Living donation is not easy on the body, but it is truly the best gift you could possibly give another human being. It is the one gift I wish I could give my husband more than anything else, but am unable to. I want to raise awareness about organ donation and I know you guys could help make a difference.
