Frankie Corrigan has been doing radio since 1990 and is currently the morning host on 97.1 ZHT, since 1997. Born and raised in Detroit... Got into radio right out of high school. He's worked at stations in Fort Myers & in Jacksonville, Florida where he landed his 1st morning show at the legendary WAPE in 1993. Cutting his teeth and sponging everything he could. From there he went to mornings in DC, Charlotte and making Salt Lake City his home.
He enjoys spending time in the mountains... Hiking, camping, snowshoeing & snowboarding. Target shooting in the desert. Loves everything the state of Utah has to offer. He just took up fly fishing. May not be catching a lot... He still digs the sport of it though. Likes to play the guitar, shooting photography, especially wildlife shots in the Everglades. He also enjoys yoga and is taking up trail running. Frankie has written a children's book to help kids learn Spanish, called "El Gato". He's also had several pieces featured over the years in the World of the Wild Annual Art Show at The Hogle Zoo. He loves giving his time to several animal rights organizations around the state. Frankie loves spending time with his friends and family... He recently moved his parents here from Detroit. He loves spending time with his spouse, Tammy, and their two dogs Brook (13) and Mustang (9). They reside in Holladay.
Frankie also loves what he does for a living. Saying, "You know you're blessed when you get paid to do something, everyday, that makes you feel alive. All while getting to work with Jess on a daily basis."
